I see the pseudo-sophisticates on Twitter asking what I’m “possibly hoping to achieve…” by running for President. They’re big on the argument that I could never win. Whether I win, I cannot control. But I know what I can control. I can control whether people have the option of a President who says this country belongs to a tiny percentage of us, with a political system that perpetuates a fundamental economic injustice. And that we have to change that. A President who offers an Economic Bill of Rights - from MedicareForAll to a guaranteed living wage. Plus a Department of Peace. And a Department of Children and Youth. And ending the War on Drugs. That’s not just what I “hope” to achieve. Whether or not people choose that option is not under my control, but the option is offered. And I will be able to look at myself in the mirror because I know I offered it. #Marianne2024

Run to win, settle for influence after the primaries. Don't go 3rd party as the spoiler phenomenon is no joke - we are already living with a Trump Supreme Court, after all. Whether or not 3rd parties influenced Trump's election, we can't afford anymore of him.

Here’s another thing you can control: whether you let Trump win by sucking votes away from Biden or not. Quit acting like it’s your heroic fate to run.

If you run and I vote for you and you loose it’s not my fault, if you run and I don’t vote for you it’s my fault, if you don’t run, it’s your fault

Understood. But in the current system we have, one that's sustained over time, every vote taken from our current @POTUS helps push a fascist, criminal sociopath closer to the finish line...which would be a tragedy for all. Preventing THAT is, unequivocally, the greatest priority.

Unfortunately as President you will not be able to attain any of these goals without the full support of Congress. What you are offering is simply a dream without a plan.

Democrats already have their candidate, it’s President @JoeBiden. There is no plan B. This is about @marwilliamson & her huge ego. You’re going to get an Authoritarian elected. At this point you remind me of Kari Lake.
