I see the pseudo-sophisticates on Twitter asking what I’m “possibly hoping to achieve…” by running for President. They’re big on the argument that I could never win. Whether I win, I cannot control. But I know what I can control. I can control whether people have the option of a President who says this country belongs to a tiny percentage of us, with a political system that perpetuates a fundamental economic injustice. And that we have to change that. A President who offers an Economic Bill of Rights - from MedicareForAll to a guaranteed living wage. Plus a Department of Peace. And a Department of Children and Youth. And ending the War on Drugs. That’s not just what I “hope” to achieve. Whether or not people choose that option is not under my control, but the option is offered. And I will be able to look at myself in the mirror because I know I offered it. #Marianne2024

You are not qualified well enough to take over this sh*tshow

I truly wish you would get a fair shot. No, we don't have fair elections in this country and when Democrat voters wake up and realize that Donald Trump is a symptom, not a cause, of a broken system - maybe then we can have an honest conversation.

I wouldn't doubt on you winning. I wanna know if you willing to fight the establishment in order for you to win the presidency. And not only that how would you deal with evil men and woman in the house of rep and senate in order to bill to pass.

How does your name-calling (pseudo-sophisticates) advance your credibility? Those who point out the inconsistency of your chosen path with that of the DNC (as I do) get no response from you. A one-way valve apparently - very useful in plumbing, btw, but not in democracy. 2/999

The only I reason respond to your posts is because they keep on showing up in my feed, even though I unfollowed you and one of your big fans. I'm not going to block you. Whether or not you COULD win is less important than how many in our oligarchy would be on your side. 3/999

Tell me some Duopoly politician you really admire and whose path to the Oval Office you emulate. It's common for candidates to attempt to align with some previous administration so as to evoke whatever success/glory might be associated with that person. Pre-1900 OK. 5/999

I previously suggested, a few weeks ago, that you could enhance your resume by injecting yourself into the Gaza assault peace process. Now Qatar has done that and gleaned all the good will & respect that might have been yours. Perhaps it's not too late. Crown 1st, then help?6/999

I also sent you a proposal/petition that outlined a program that would pay health insurance premiums and re-pay student loans w/o being a tax burden. Could you hire a minion to reply to such correspondence if it's beneath your dignity? Also "Instead of a Border Wall.." 7/999

You mention looking at yourself in the mirror. Look at the usual suspect candidates behind the one-way mirror instead. Systemic change is required to alter the horse race/game show parody of democracy we have become. No plan on that? I sent one, btw, never read, I'm sure. 9/999

Thanks Marianne. The message you bring is sorely needed. It's true that the nation belongs to a tiny percentage, and it's sad that most folks don't realize it. Our latest podcast highlights this issue. We'd love to interview you as well. DM if interested. democracyonthemove.org/p/the…
