This is making an already catastrophic situation catastrophically worse. There was never a military solution to this problem and there is no military solution to it now. Barbarism must not be met with barbarism. Support for Israel should never have meant - and should not now mean - unconditional support for the worst impulses of Benjamin Netanyahu.

"Barbarism"? Barbarism would be Israel doing what Hamas did. Sending in death squads shooting civilians left and right by the thousands, raping and burning and taking captives by the hundreds. That is barbarism. What's wrong with you? I thought you were better than that.

Barbarism = War. War = Profits. You know what matters more than a solution? Yup, you guessed it - profit. Capitalism ensures that barbarism will be the choice. If you ever become president, this sad, sad reality will set in for you too. The system is broken.
