How is this not murder?
A 62-year-old grandfather and church deacon named #JohnnyHollman lost his life in Atlanta police custody after a minor traffic accident. He declined to sign a ticket, believing he wasn't at fault, and tragically, he was tased to death by the officer seconds later. #gapol #Sayhisname #Atlanta

If he had just listened and complied, he would still be here. I cannot understand why the majority of them refuse to comply.

Are you serious??? An American citizen doesn’t have to “comply.” This is not a police state and this was a TRAFFIC stop!

He should have called for backup, and with the other officers presented a united front. Resorting to violence means you've already lost. Sadly, this is a human flaw and not a flaw of the police department. Municipal governments cannot remedy this by defunding their police departments, it will not solve the issue, they can only continue to remove the bad actors

i lived in Atlanta. i was wrongfully pulled over & ticked for things i didn’t do All The Time! cost me thousands over the years. usually they’d have a hand on their gun when approaching me. it was terrifying. you feel you can’t do anything but comply the lies or get shot.

Whether you agree with a ticket or not you cannot fight it out with the cop right then and there. They will win every single time. In court, they only win most of the time. Welcome to the system.
