Peace begins within and battles rage within us all to varying degrees. Meditation and Conflict Resolution should be taught in school, and a Dept. focusing on peace, global, nationwide, state, local, family&individual is a worthwhile massive adventure.

The department of state is supposed to be that soft power is supposed to be stronger than armed conflict but it has to be with the willing evidently the Zionists are constant and consistent liars and break every treaty and agreement

It is not that it is a wacky idea. It is that the ministry of peace usually becomes the ministry of war given half a year.

Our Constitution was adapted from the Iroquois, 'Great Law of Peace'. sourcebooks.fordham.edu/mod/…

Why??? Just because it's called that doesn't mean it does anything useful for peace. United Nations, ACLU, southern poverty law center are all corrupt skeevy cronies. Most ngos don't do a damn thing they say they do. They are $$ corporate laundering institutions.

It's called the State Department.

Department of Anything is a wacky idea and a waste of money. If we can’t elect peaceful people to represent us in Congress, why would we let those same war mongers decide who makes up the “peace” department?

Yeah, sure, let's increase the size of government some more and increase the tax burden on taxpayers. No wonder your ideas are awful.

Democrats NEARLY created a Ministry of Truth which would have possibly been the greatest unforced error in the history of politics. A "Ministry of Peace" would be just as, if not more, Orwellian.

There isn’t enough money in peace. That’s the problem.
