When the trickle-down con first began - and make no mistake about it, it was a massive con perpetrated on the American people - we were told about "job killing regulations." That "job-killing" phrase was the PR narrative created to trick people into thinking that all deregulation was a good thing. In fact, such regulations were job protections, labor protections, worker safety regulations, environmental regulations and so forth. Now we're seeing the result of this painful corporate-driven chapter of American history, in which our middle class has been hollowed out and millions left to suffer. We need to end that chapter and begin again. #marianne2024
Truck drivers used to make $100,000 a year. Today, many are homeless and live out of their trucks. The problem is deregulation. Before 1980 the industry was highly regulated, truckers were union, and it was a good job. Now the industry is unregulated, and drivers are suffering.

Truckers did not make $100K a year in the 70s. And after the 70s cost-barriers to entry, they made far less.

There's a global right-wing big money criminal conspiracy to stop "We the People" from having any power whatsoever. WE ARE FOOLS TO BELIEVE THAT ANYONE IN POWER CARES ABOUT THE RIGHTS & LIVES OF ANYONE WHO HAS NO POWER. Big money power wants total control of everyone & everything

Deregulation began under the Democratic administration of Jimmy Carter, 1977-1981.

People gotta not want to be treated like garbage for a paycheck. My father was a truck driver and had several bad experiences, one place wouldn’t let him take time off to see his dying mother, he walked. Another messed with his schedule, he told them others companies would call
