The problem is not the American people. The problem is a sclerotic political system that does as much to suppress the will of the people as to facilitate its expression.. The answer to this is not to ignore the system but to transform it. We need a revolution at the ballot box.

I'm not voting for biden this upcoming election, but your campaign is kind of a joke. You are just a rich lady pretending to be a progressive for clout. you tried to both sides hamas and the israelis government, revealing to us what a fraud you are.

Disagree: THE PROBLEM IS "WE" the people who transformed "the system" by an almost nihilistic inversion of the enlightened ideal "LIBERTY" for the people into " FREEDOM" of the people. Perhaps Liberties are restrictions by the people's government on INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM (the law)!

Sounds a bit utopian to me. Have you listened to conservatives, Republicans, talk about their views on economic power, violence, the role of religion, the importance of race, women, minorities, immigrants, the value of education, and so on? You really feel you share their values?

How can the problem not be the American people when the majority of white voters, male and female, voted for Trump... twice...and appear poised to do so again?

Americans have been conditioned to wait for their servants to grant permission to life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Government sucks at everything.
