In order to get onto the ballots in all fifty states it costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. The system is rigged to make sure that only those with a lot of money, or access to a lot of money, can get near the highest pinnacles of power. 🧵

So we have a choice: rule by oligarchs or rule by the people. When "a gov't of the people, by the people and for the people" has become "a gov't of a few of the people, by a few of the people and for a few of the people," it's up to the people to decide whether to let that stand.

Please donate so issues like MedicareForAll, tuition free college and tech school, a guaranteed living wage, declaring a Climate Emergency, a Dept of Peace and ending the Drug War - A PEOPLE'S AGENDA RATHER THAN A CORPORATE AGENDA - can unrig the system and turn the ship around.
