Because CNN is not a news outlet, it's a organ of state propaganda. Dean Phillips, who will certainly do nothing to overturn the apple cart, is now the approved opposition. I expect this strategy to be as effective as their copy paste reportage on Gaza.

And BTW, maybe hire a reputable law firm to have a look at this for you. Broadcast networks are not permitted to distort news under FCC regs. Reporting that there is only one Dem challenger to Biden seems like potential distortion.
