Two traumatized peoples will emerge from this with wounds beyond what most of us can imagine. As President, I will offer the full resources of the United States to support the peacemakers among both peoples. I will help to harness an international consortium to forge a two state solution by which the rights and security of both Palestinians and Israelis are established and guaranteed. There will not be a quick solution to this disastrous moment in Middle East history. Much will have to accomplished and a lot of it will not be easy.
