The only way to defeat Donald Trump in 2024 is with a radically humanitarian agenda: universal healthcare, tuition free college and tech school, childcare & paid family leave, guaranteed living wage, a vision of peace, and the declaration of a climate emergency to save the planet for future generations. Why? Because those things provide a better life for people. They inspire a way for the future to be better. They give a voter something to vote FOR. If the Democratic Party refuses to match Donald Trump’s mendacity with an equal level of human compassion for what people are going through, it will not defeat him. It will pave for the way for his return.

The CO2 in our atmosphere is at a mild .04% and plants start to die at .03%. We are two percentage points away from CO2 collapse. And ice cores show that CO2 follows temperature which means that CO2 is not even a greenhouse gas.

Not to throw sand in the proverbial gears...but how can we hope to 'save the planet' in our dysfunctional state of perpetual wars, poverty, drug induced psychosis,epidemic corruption and rising authoritarian corporatocracy..? We don't even know how to save ourselves.
