.@amazonlabor Many European countries are worker led. Whether or not ours is worker led, American workers should absolutely be on equal footing with the corporate overlords they work for. For over 40 years, union busting has been enabled and unions have been in various ways squashed and diminished in power. That's beginning to change now, as everything from Amazon, to @UAW to writers and actors arising up in a reinvigorated chapter of American labor. It's important for all of us to recognize that this is an issue central to American democracy. It has to do with whether or not there is economic justice and fair opportunity shown to the average American.
