What is happening in Gaza is unconscionable. I have said that repeatedly, calling early and consistently for a ceasefire. I have not spoken in terms of genocide, that is true. Number one, because that is not the desire of the Israeli people; and two, because then you have to point out that genocide is exactly what Sinwar has declared is the intention of Hamas toward the Jews. This conversation is far too serious, and far too tragic, for me to want to discuss it in terms of genocide tit for tat. We need three things: 1) Ceasefire. 2) Release of the hostages. 3) A plan for a two-state solution.

I sort of agree 1) release of all the hostages 2) humanitarian pause 3) negotiations for a full surrender of Hamas 4) a viable transition scheme for Gaza . . . X) a demilitarized Palestinian State in all of Gaza and the west bank with exchange of territory with Israel to accommodate concessions in the Palestinian side

The call for a ceasefire is good. Calling for a two-states solution shows this issue hasn't been of much interest to you since a two-state-solution is not possible. It's something Israel and US like to dangle in front of people's eyes to defuse tensions, but knowing it will never happen. The West Bank is made up of pockets of Palestinians surrounded by a sea of Israeli settlements. What's left is not something that can be a state, you have lots of small Palestinian areas disconnected by an Israeli presence. Plus the West Bank is entirely separated from Gaza. That imaginary Palestinian state would consist of two parts, not even connected, one being flattened right this moment and one part that is lots of cut off cities and villages. The call for the release of hostages? The current Israeli leadership doesn't want them back right now, it wants to completely crush Hamas and punish all Palestinians along with it. I hear you're good at writing self-help books. Better stick to one trade instead of doing damage - with surely the best possible intentions - trying your hand at another

Stop playing politics and appeasing Israel. This is genocide. And it will be global if we don't stop it in Gaza.

You are a terrorist sympathiser. Terror will never end until the terrorists are removed. #NoCeasefire until Hamas is destroyed.

Only one has the power to genocide, only one is using their power to do so. Before the attack of Oct 7, 80% of Palestinian refugees relied on aid to survive. Why? Because Israel has been a cruel and inhumane occupying power of Gaza since 2005/6. Israel is required by international humanitarian law to provide water, food, fuel, electricity and basic medical necessities to the people under their occupation. When Israel stopped those essentials necessary for Palestinian refugees to survive, they broke that international humanitarian law. When launched a retaliatory attack on Gaza, withholding those essentials from civilians became a WAR CRIME against the rules of war all states agreed to uphold. You must call those actions - at least - steps toward genocide and ethnic cleansing - what else can you call withholding food and drinking water from over 1 million children?
