For Israel to prosecute an all out war on Gaza is already a catastrophe for the people of Gaza. It can easily become a catastrophe for the people of Israel as well. There’s no end game there, for them or for the rest of the world, that doesn’t multiply the horror. The United States should join an international consortium - Egypt, Jordan and others - in efforts to secure release of the hostages and cessation of the bombing. #ceasefire

What does Hamas want for hostages? Their demands aren't unreasonable. A compromise could be concluded under the umbrella of a cease fire. Israel refuses compromise so the ethnic cleansing will continue.

It’s strange how quickly people forget that we would not need a ceasefire or have hostages if Hamas militants did not attack, rape & murder & kidnap innocent people on October 7th. 1400 dead, that we know of. How many of the 240 hostages are still alive?

The United States is as guilty as Israel in perpetrating this horror. What's more, the United States hasn't acted to *reduce* tensions anywhere in the world for many years. All the US State Department does now is issue threats for disobedience. The US is war and death.
