A person’s life doesn’t fall apart all at once; it’s the little compromises, little heartbreaks, little mistakes, that pave the way to decline and overwhelming despair. 1/6

A country doesn’t fall apart all at once, either. It’s not one thing, but a lot of things, that take us slowly to a point where we look around and say “Oh my God, what happened to this country?” 2/6

But Albert Camus’ words apply to a country as well as to an individual: “In the midst of winter, I have found there was, within me, an invincible summer.” 3/6

We have within us as a nation, just like we have it within us as individuals, to summon the strength that lies deep within us and decide to rise up. 4/6

It’s not what other people are doing but only what we are doing, that determines whether our lives are defined by breakdown or breakthrough, decline or rebirth, by fear or by love. 5/6

But we are at a point where we have to decide; to not decide is a decision in and of itself. To think we don’t have to radically change is to foster our societal decline. In the words of Abraham Lincoln, “As our case is new, we must think anew and act anew.” It’s the 11th hour, but it isn’t midnight yet…there’s still time if we will use time well. 6/6

Spot on. For me it was a health insurance company that found loopholes to not cover my child's care and then my homeowners ins. won't cover my failing foundation on a house that isn't even 40 years old. I'd be in solid financial shape if insurance functioned the way it should. 😒

Indeed just like the life of the southern Ukrains who were being lobotomized by the Organization of Ukraine, this was a scene that perturbed those who are now New Russian for over a decade. Yes... if The Russian Military didn't intervene mind anguish would of paranoid-delusion.

It’s the goddamn fucking late fees for everything that suck us dry It’s the cost of health insurance (healthcare should be free) It’s the lack of social services It’s like the cruelty is the point

lsrraeli occupation forces release the dead body of a Palestinian man from Salfit. Waseem Ayyash is a man of special needs who was detained two days. He was alive and well then, but today he was brought back as a corpse with clear signs of torture.
