A lifelong Democrat, it took me a while to get here, to struggle through frustration & anger at what is, versus what so many of us know we could be.
I'm a boomer who supported all the changes we, in the 60's fought hard to bring. Later, in '16, I supported Bernie Sanders who helped Americans reclaim a vision for what we deserve and need to build, in exchange for what we contribute. The DP interfered in the outcome of his campaign to preserve the own party influence & power
--while ignoring our will.
Marianne Williamson is a breath of fresh air, a combination of all the right
leadership qualities to move us out of the political, ethical moral trap we Americans have been led into: wars for profit; profits over people, corporate & authoritarian domination, the rich over the poor.
Marianne is intelligent, courageous & fearless. She doesn't present with the usual hackneyed credentials of military might & dominance or economic loyalty to the powers that be. She speaks from an ethical, moral, inclusive vision to shift us as a country forward, to reclaim & build on a future we began fighting for in the 60s--and now need to reclaim and bring full circle, transformed for the 21st century, for us all.
