The United States should be convening, along with other nations, an emergency international conference to discuss an alternative to the war in Gaza. Destroying Gaza will not serve Israel. The world itself has a vested interest in finding a better way.

If only there were already an international body in place where the US could convene an emergency meeting to address a pressing international security issue.
