The United States should be convening, along with other nations, an emergency international conference to discuss an alternative to the war in Gaza. Destroying Gaza will not serve Israel. The world itself has a vested interest in finding a better way.

But destroying Hamas will serve Israel, Jordan, Egypt… AND the rest of the world.

I definitely feel that setting examples, like bringing $200 million worth of bricks to show that we are interested in construction, "not" destruction along with other needed aspects but I also want our 10 people out We must set a strong example.

Nitin WNYC I don’t know about that. Destroying Nazi Germany worked out really GREAT!!!

Israel's purpose is to destroy Hamas, which is embedded in Gaza. Get Hamas to stop bombing Israel (war crimes), taking hostages (war crimes), and embedding themselves in civilian areas (war crimes).
Letting Hamas continue to exist won't help Israel either. Hezbollah will have to be dealt with too. Israel did not become what they are in a vacuum either.

While people are dying in the streets wherever we look? Opioids, scurvy, suicide? The pandemic of despair is upon us, and it’s so easy to just project on another part of the world.

Or not, given the promise of Hamas to keep attacking until Israel is destroyed.

At least Gary Johnson had antics like when his tongue fell out. You're the boring version of him.
