The horror in Gaza is not going to bring justice to those responsible for the horror in Israel on Oct. 7th. The blood of a child in Gaza does not avenge the blood of a child in Israel. Justice must be pursued for both and both equally. 1/5

Netanyahu’s blind arrogance is in many ways responsible for the terrorist attack on Israel, and such quality of character is the last thing that should be driving her response to it now. 2/5

Every mistake the United States made in Iraq and Afghanistan - the product of militaristic, unscrupulous men who think their bombs are all powerful - is repeating itself in Israel today. It did not work for us, and it will not work for them. 3/5

For every Hamas terrorist they kill they will create ten more. The might of God is what will save Israel now, and the might of God lies not in the sword but in mercy and justice. 4/5

We who have been hated throughout our history and are hated so unfairly now must refuse to return their hate with hate. The power of the United States and the power of Israel should not be a partnership of war. It should be, and it should have been for decades, a partnership in justice. A new crop of Israeli and Palestinian leadership is needed to transmute the darkness of this moment. May God lift them up. The United States should stand for new light, not ancient darkness. Ceasefire now. 5/5

Your hand wringing is impressive. You can't assauge your guilt because you help pay for all of this. You should pray for forgiveness you don't deserve. It's on you. You pay taxes. That's a fact. We are all culpable. Get over yourself and be responsible. A new reality will emerge try to be relevant in that

This is what Israel is doing. The sides are NOT the same & I resent the implication. Israel has been doing genocide of Palestine for 75 years. When people finally fight back, they’re demonized for it. Where was the demonization of Israel all this time?

Ends pretty quickly if Hamas surrenders the hostages and the criminals responsible for murdering over 1400 unarmed civilians, most of whom were elderly, women, and children. The people of Palestine can help by turning in the criminals. All they have to do is tell Israeli soldiers where they are hiding.

I hate when ppl call 10/7 an unprovoked attack, As if the Illegal Israeli Occupation & Palestinian Genocide for the past 75 years wasnt enough #NoOilForIsrael

And not a single word about freeing the hostages Hamas kidnapped.

Marianne, it's likely they aren't even thinking about concepts like justice. This is about preservation and protection. The Gaza strip needs to swept from the north to the south to remove all terror tunnels, weapon installations, weapons manufacturing equipment, etc.

If Hamas releases all the hostages and surrenders to the IDF, the war would end the next day. The Gazans could do this, but won't. Gazans are the architects of their own fate.
