Another mass shooting, this time in Maine. My answer to a question about guns during my CNN Townhall in 2020 remains the same. A majority of Republicans as well as Democrats, including gun owners, want common sense gun safety laws such as a ban on assault weapons, federal red flag laws and universal background checks. The fact that we don't have them has nothing to do with the Second Amendment, and everything to do with the unadulterated greed of gun manufacturers. None of this will change until the people rise up.

The vast majority of the places where mass shootings took place were already gun free zones where any type of firearms are prohibited. Murderers don't respect laws. Also the killers were all Democrats.

Stop lying you dumb bitch.

If police had acted appropriately to the multiple prior warnings received and pursued yellow flag laws against the guy this would have never happened. Hold the police who chose to ignore the laws in place criminally responsible.

While I generally support you I don't support this. Problems w/ corporatists will only accelerate with disarming victims. Have you ever lived in a poor neighborhood? If you have you know cops don't give a damn about you. Gun violence is a symptom of the problems you speak of.

A majority of Americans sure as heck do not want an "assault weapons" ban. The only way you can get a majority of Americans to agree with anything on this topic is by asking deceptively-vague survey questions. And yes, the 2nd Amendment does matter even if you pretend it doesn't.

NO we don't ! "Shall not be infringed is in the Constitution for a very good reason.

Why is it that whenever a person does a mass shooting you blame all the people who didn't do it?
