Another mass shooting, this time in Maine. My answer to a question about guns during my CNN Townhall in 2020 remains the same. A majority of Republicans as well as Democrats, including gun owners, want common sense gun safety laws such as a ban on assault weapons, federal red flag laws and universal background checks. The fact that we don't have them has nothing to do with the Second Amendment, and everything to do with the unadulterated greed of gun manufacturers. None of this will change until the people rise up.

This is total nonsense. Yes, schizophrenics should not have access to guns. How was he able to take this gun? And if one person had a gun and training at that bowling alley, many lives would have been saved.

Please read up on Miller v. Bonta. Text, history tradition. 2A is a right, not a privilege, like driving a car.

Maine Police: Lewiston mass murder suspect Robert Card is categorized as "Federal Firearms Disqualified Status." Once again, "gun control" laws don't stop criminals from using guns. "Gun control" laws only stop law-abiding citizens from being able to protect themselves. Shocker.
