Responded to the mass shooting in Maine last night, our new Speaker of the House said prayer is appropriate at a time like this. That’s it. That was his response. 1/3

Darn right, Mr. Speaker. So is a ban on assault weapons, universal background checks, banning bump stocks and high-capacity magazines, and more. Using prayer as cover for the political unwillingness to address earthly problems is a mockery of faith. 2/3

Do we ban cars over impaired drivers? Do we blame the car or the person driving it? We didnt in the Darrell Brooks Jr case. Those kill a heck of a lot more people than all guns. How about only the government can have suvs or trucks? Can we the people only have bikes and horses?

500 million guns in the US -- we don't have a gun problem, we have a politicized ineffective law enforcement problem. Everyone should carry a gun, you're the only one with the power to stop evil when it counts.

What's an assault weapon? You dopes cannot articulate it at all bc all you know is that "rifle looks scary"

Americana just watched terrorists invade another country, slaughtering/kidnapping them while they were unable to defend themselves and their families and you think they will be ok with you taking their guns? How about you focus on the broken mental health system

None of these things would have had any affect on the incident last night. Nor would governor Newsome's "waiting period" nonsense. All of these are just further infringements on the law abiding.
