Responded to the mass shooting in Maine last night, our new Speaker of the House said prayer is appropriate at a time like this. That’s it. That was his response. 1/3

Darn right, Mr. Speaker. So is a ban on assault weapons, universal background checks, banning bump stocks and high-capacity magazines, and more. Using prayer as cover for the political unwillingness to address earthly problems is a mockery of faith. 2/3

Literally none of those things would have helped, we know that with absolute certainty.

No we have the right to defend ourselves from those who wish us harm. Including the government. Which is why they care so about having a monopoly on these weapons.

None of those laws prevented anything from happening last night. How safe do you think people in Main are right now, when their own local, law-enforcement and federal government with all their laws, training and equipment, cannot find the suspect? The government won’t protect you

No to more gun control, just watched terrorist go house to house in Israel raping and killing people. Our borders wide open in the south, terrorist are parading on our streets saying kill the Jews. I am not going to be caught with my pants down when they say kill the Christians.
