Responded to the mass shooting in Maine last night, our new Speaker of the House said prayer is appropriate at a time like this. That’s it. That was his response. 1/3

Darn right, Mr. Speaker. So is a ban on assault weapons, universal background checks, banning bump stocks and high-capacity magazines, and more. Using prayer as cover for the political unwillingness to address earthly problems is a mockery of faith. 2/3

Unconstitutional laws and regulations are never appropriate. That would be a deprivation of rights under the color of law or statute. That's a felony.

Unconstitutional. Unconstitutional. Unconstitutional. Unconstitutional. There seems to be a recurring theme with your fascist fucks.

I own several "assault weapons" I'm a peaceful guy who minds my own business, doesn't hurt anyone, and quick to help my neighbors & community. I will die before I'm disarmed. Are you personally willing to come into my home and murder me, to disarm me?... CC: @gunpolicy

The shooter, trained by the govt, with an extensive background check, to include documented mental health issues, STOLE the weapon from a HIGHLY regulated military/govt base and broke multiple LAWS, to include the obvious, being multiple murders.
