Responded to the mass shooting in Maine last night, our new Speaker of the House said prayer is appropriate at a time like this. That’s it. That was his response. 1/3

Darn right, Mr. Speaker. So is a ban on assault weapons, universal background checks, banning bump stocks and high-capacity magazines, and more. Using prayer as cover for the political unwillingness to address earthly problems is a mockery of faith. 2/3

2 things. One, I’m keeping my rights and that’s non negotiable. Two, you’re not going to ever be president.

It's not wise to respond to a situation until you've gathered the facts; other than the first responders and communities dealing with the emergency involving the suspect and the deaths and injuries it would behoove the rest of us to pause before rushing to judgments or actions.

You know dam well that this is not the issue... It was an internal issue with law enforcement and how they dealt with it. And secondly , you can not arrest some one for a crime that they have not yet committed...

My unemployed neighborhood cat that everyone hates has a better chance being elected President than you do. Sorry for that but truth is what it is.

What do you think about the failure of the FBI to prevent these mass shootings? Time and again, these mentally Ill individuals seem to be known to the FBI.

People who commit murder give 0 shits about your gun bans! You only do it to make yourselves feel safe! It is a false sense of security. The only thing you accomplish is tying your own hands.
