Pfizer tripling the price of Paxlovid isn’t some one off rare example of corruption. It is endemic to the system not only with big Pharma, but also with insurance companies, Big food, Big Oil, the defense industry and more, that institutionalized corporate greed is sucking the soul out of this country. Incremental change will not fix this. Voting for the lesser evil will not fix this.  Only a revolution at the ballot box will fix this. #Marianne2024 #disruptthecorrupt
Corporate greed is Pfizer tripling the price of Paxlovid to $1,390 a dose and quadrupling the price of its COVID vaccine to $115 while it made over $31 billion in profits last year and gave its CEO, Albert Bourla, $33 million in compensation — a 36% pay raise. Unacceptable.

Unacceptable. That is hilarious. Shark eats last living seal and everyone is horrified. 🤡🌎 One of these days you're going to stop expecting things to behave otherwise than intended. Pharma is not here for the benefit for all mankind. Pharma is business.

@RoKhanna and @RepMattGaetz, you both have the data behind you. You have far more power in this moment than you know. Don’t be mistaken about that. Enact the peoples desires!!! ⁃Ban PAC and Lobbyists money on the hill ⁃Ban Congressional stock trading ⁃Enact term limits The new speaker must be on board with this election winning impulse. Make it happen. 🦊😉🦊

Yes! And guess what, Albert Bourla of Pfizer was on Joe Biden’s fake cancer foundation. Anita Dunn of SKDK represented Pfizer. Pfizer sponsored the Oscars for ABC, SKDK’s other client. Dunn’s hubby is Joe Biden’s counsel and his former law firm, Perkins Coie reps Biden Foundation.

Imagine the outcry if Pfizer tripled the price of Viagra. Back in the 2000s, I heard employees in Wisconsin company meetings (our HQ was in Houston, TX) complaining that our employee health insurance would pay for Viagra, but not a woman's birth control pills.

Hi Marianne. Can you tell me how you plan on convincing someone like Joe Manchin to vote for Medicare For All and the Green New Deal? How would you get those plans through a divided Congress? I would like specifics, not slogans.

Thanks Obamacare for fixing the healthcare care system in 2010. I’m only paying 5 times what I was paying in 2009.

Denmark has the best Healthcare system in the world. All efficient private companies, excellent outcomes and only costs 10% of GDP. Government is the "single payer" and negotiates prices and services. We could learn a lot from the Danes without eating pickled herring

We’re fucked. Paxlovid being expensive isn’t the half of it. No NPIs and a virus with a damn near infinite genome. Money is the least of our problems. Society is collapsing because leaders haven’t taken Cocvid seriously.
