Israel must stop the siege and stop the bombing - and the United States should be supporting neither. The blood of innocents is the blood of innocents, regardless whose is spilled. 1/2

The role of the United States should be working with other countries to broker a solution - including release of the hostages. The United States simply supporting Israel in the application of brute force is bad for Gaza, bad for Israel, bad for America and bad for the world. 2/2

This is a non-starter of a position for a would-be US president. Israel is right to respond in this specific case, and Hamas could end this today if it handed over hostages and stepped forward for criminal prosecution.

If the only way to have peace in the region is to eliminate Hamas, how would you go about doing it?

As a country, if you are attacked, you have the right to engage. Otherwise, that country will look weak. of course innocent civilians shouldn’t be targeted, that’s a given.

What about releasing hostages first? Huh. Ms. compassionate.

So disappointed in your continued non-action messages on the app. The US has the power to stand in front of Israel and stop this and they aren’t - Why? Because a few “terrorists” is worth thousands of lives?

Well said. You have courage. I’m 100% behind you.
