It is now a multi-polar world. China already HAS influence on the world stage and if they are the ones who have a better idea right now, then so be it. All the United States is offering at this point is support for the use of brute force in doing what brute force of itself cannot do. We have to do everything possible to find a better way.

She's right about China's influence. It's now a major player and it's learning how to Flex itself as a peace broker. The United States is doing substantial work behind the scenes. Marianne is not informed about this work. But her heart is in the right place. I support that.

The CCP’s idea is not supporting peace. Their idea is to place themselves at the center of the global conversation to put on a facade of peacefulness while China engages in genocide domestically and constant military aggression externally. Their regime should never be propped up.
