Israel invading Gaza will only increase the horror for both peoples. The world - including the U.S. - is being faced with the limits to the power of brute force. My hope is that some country or group of countries is stepping in right now and trying to broker a better way. That is what the world should do. And that is what I would do. #ceasefire

Israel is not invading Gaza, they are destroying Hamas. Turning over the Gaza strip was supposed to part of a deal for peace. Hamas never honored that deal.
