With 40 million people living in poverty, there’s no way we can call the US economy “good.” With millions more living in near poverty and even more afraid of poverty, the situation is unsustainable. In truth, millions of people in this country feel their lives are falling apart. 1/5

Chronic economic anxiety leads to dangerous levels of personal and societal dysfunction. Telling people who worry on a daily basis how they’re going to pay their bills, that they should be happy because of an Infrastructure Bill here or a Chips Act there or a few crumbs here or a warning about fascism over there, is a delusional perspective on how to win in 2024. 2/5

We will win in 2024 by responding in a meaningful way to the despair of millions of people - not with crumbs thrown down by a DC elite, or an incremental approach that doesn’t offend Wall Street, but with *fundamental economic reform.* Universal healthcare - now. Tuition free college and tech school - now. Subsidized child care - now. Paid family leave - now. Guaranteed housing - now. Guaranteed living wage - now. 3/5

None of those things will come with the wave of a wand. But we can elect a President who stands for them, and a Congress that aligns with her vision. Anything less, and we will re-elect Trump. Too many people who are angry about the above will vote for him. And too many people who are depressed about the above will simply stay home and not vote. 4/5

Anything less than the above is the “unserious” campaign. It is unserious in its failure to realize how close the angry mob is to the gates of the Bastille. “We won’t have to worry about a fascist takeover in this country as long as democracy delivers on its promises.” - FDR And that is what will win… 5/5 #disruptthecorrupt #Marianne2024 #economicbillofrights

You don't explain Step 2 of the "free- everything" idea. Which is, how do you do "free-everything" without crashing the economy, driving inflation, lowering quality, etc etc. (Aka the perils of communism)?

You're the only candidate who's even paying attention to the approaching crisis facing our country and its workers so you have my vote and support. Everyone else is backing the short-sighted goals of profit and mass death.
