Many politicians and climate voices now say we're in a climate emergency. We need a President who will declare one. Currently, we have a President who has given more oil drilling permits than even Trump did and has approved the Willow project. Those two things together nullify completely any benefits from the green energy investments in the IRA. Politicians who tweet about our need to declare a Climate Emergency yet have already endorsed the president for reelection make no sense. Climate actors who go on incessantly about our need to declare a Climate Emergency yet have either endorsed the president and/or will not support a candidate with the exact agenda they claim to wish for, make no sense.
