The president continuing to build the wall on the Southern border is a betrayal of a campaign promise. It's also a desperate bid for approval by the border hardliners who want a president to be "tough on the border."

It's not just the selling out of the soul of his campaign, it's the selling out of the soul of this country. And by the way, it's an idiotic expenditure of billions of dollars. If people want to get in badly enough, they will simply build tunnels underneath the wall.

Once again, we are dealing with a problem on the level of the symptom and not the cause. As President I will end sanctions against Cuba and Venezuela, and seek to end every US policy in Latin America that continues a legacy of economic colonialism on that continent.

I will begin the process of ending America's War on Drugs, thus undercutting the power of the drug cartels who are creating such heinous violence from which people throughout Latin America are trying to escape.

For a fraction of what we spend on the Drug War (billions) and the wall (billions), we can fix our broken asylum system and create gateways through which immigrants can enter legally and then transition within a year to lives in America as productive and contributive citizens.

When I am president, people who have been traumatized in their home countries in ways the average person cannot even imagine, will not be retraumatized at the U.S. border.

It’s neither a betrayal or submission by Biden, but reality. Biden cannot undo legislation designated spending on a whim. You know the truth, yet you spin a lie. Why are you running?

If you don’t know how any of this works you’re not going to be able to govern effectively. Funds were already allocated. He tried to stop it but legally can’t. He wasn’t the one who started the process. And once started it couldn’t be stopped.

Blue MAGA is just as bad as Red MAGA. Both parties work against us! #CornelWest2024

Don't worry, he is only saying it. It is a crazy idea, what would neighbouring countries do with their worst criminals if they can't send them to the US?

"Biden's wall" ... That's what we'll call it from now on!

Take the locks off you're doors and do a huge marketing campaign inviting everyone into you're home to live forever. Support them from your bank account. Or you're a racist and yada, yada, yada. Grow up folks. Grow up.

i guess that sort of thing will all work out once you're prez of the parties building the wall?

I agree unfortunately the money has been allocated. I think it has to be used. He can try to run out the clock.

Imagine being for funding Nazis in Ukraine but against protecting our own border

The drug cartels are making a stupendous amount of money smuggling people over. Apparently it’s more profitable to smuggle people than drugs. They are hiring American citizens to do this. It’s so complicated.
