This is true. And while it seems radical to most Americans, it’s the reality for the citizens of every other advanced democracy.
If a doctor prescribes a medication, that should just be it. No sort of cost or insurance company should be able to get in the way of obtaining it. #UniversalHealthcare #Medicaid4ALL

Hi Marianne. Yes, but the patient as I said, should have to see the pharmacist before receiving it, and discuss all it may do: reviewing all the meds. Not only this but each refill be interview by a refill pharmacist trained to review the situation when the scrip has many contraindications or may be a negative factor or used in a different way than most licensed uses.

I think many Americans are duped into thinking there's not much they can do about the present pharma situation but it's up to all to rise up and disrupt a greedy process. We are not on Earth just to work and make gobs of money: Service w/o dollars & other ways to be joyful!

Not totally unfortunately. Unless given it while in the hospital, we don’t have prescription coverage here in Canada.

why do you never talk about securing the border, @marwilliamson This is more important. #UniversalHealthcare can never work in USA due to the population and the fact 40% of the population are obese and health probs that brings. Plus low tax rates and so many unemployed
