MW, peace grows within individuals who are serious. A "department of peace" would be an abomination. Nice idea but see the contradiction in trying to "governmentize" peace.

I think we need to take a closer look at the basic assumptions behind Fed policy. First, the Fed flooded the financial system with free credit. But it didn’t go toward productive capital investment. It went to speculation, stock buybacks, etc.
