It gets them to go into a different field, to the first part. Tight labor markets are good for this reason (among many others.) I've heard that driverless vehicles are safer than vehicles with human drivers, though. Is that not true?

There is a national labor shortage. Elimination of unskilled jobs frees up a workforce for more skilled and higher paying jobs.

Sometimes I wonder if people understand how inevitable this all is at this point. So maybe support ways to create meaningful employment that doesn't require menial labor?
