It seems like there are so many issues confronting us, from environmental breakdown to income inequality to food insecurity to racial discrimination to criminal injustice and more, but at the bottom of all that is one essential problem: the takeover of our democracy by forces of corporate greed. Corporate greed is a plague on our society. It acts at this point almost like a single institutionalized force, able to control our government through its financial influence on Congress, the White House and SCOTUS. Its tentacles reach into every sector of our society - poisoning our food and water and air; denying Americans health care; flooding our streets with guns; desecrating our environment; denying education and economic prospects to our young; and dominating our foreign affairs. No, America, things are not okay. This is the 11th hour but it isn't midnight yet. Things can still be put right - but not by electing a status quo politician. The status quo will not disrupt itself. It's time for the people to step in. (marianne2024.com/issues/)

"We have met the enemy, and it is us" They say that we get the government we deserve, or allow, but in truth our governments embody and mimic our own beliefs, otherwise they would not stand Marianne, who are are these huge groups of OTHER people who are supposedly out there?

You’re obviously still not doing much meditation Marianne. Everything you say and believe in is rooted in dividing people. Yet, TCOM is all about uniting people based on our shared divinity. You’re a disgrace Marianne.

The DNC is entirely corporate owned. You cannot change anything from within this rotting heap of garbage, which controls all of corporate media. They will never allow anyone to win their fake primary except a corporate stooge. You are wasting your time and your breath.

And yet, your money guy has you in Blackrock. And if he doesn't, you need a new guy.

Excellent points. Still, it seems tribalism, hatred, and contempt are at the core. The lower rungs of Dante's Hell are reserved for all those who fan the flames of confusion, conflict, and teaching us to hate our neighbors. Divided we fall.

Yes and pharma used its grip on cdc, fda,nih etc to take over the country and do a mass wealth transfer. You still do not seem to get the gravity of it.

Why are you running as a Democrat? You know they are the Do-Nothing Party. The only thing they ever do is talk and fundraise
