A major way to help defeat the drug cartels is to dry up their market. End the War on Drugs. Decriminalize, then legalize  and regulate. 1/3

For a fraction of the $100B we spend every year on the failed Drug War, we can help establish a national network of recovery options. We need to move from criminalization to seeing addiction as a health issue. We don't need a Drug czar; we need a Recovery czar. 2/3

Nixon knew drugs wasn't "public enemy #1" when he started the Drug War. It's done more to exacerbate than to solve the problem, including that almost half of federal prisoners are non-violent drug offenders. Enough. Time for a new beginning. 3/3 marianne2024.com

It's time to legalize Marijuana ... and let non-violent drug offenders out of our prisons ... enough is enough ... and take the money and put it into helping those people live normal lives ... and fulfill their dreams.

U have too many voters who have seen first hand their loved ones suffered and died from oxys...and that was legal. They won't vote for it.

Harry Anslinger knew when he made cannabis illegal it wasn’t a problem. He had done a study just a couple years before. But alcohol prohibition ended and he needed something to keep his power/position. Zero overdose deaths in the history of mankind.

If 70-80,000 people are being killed every year, might it not be a good idea to think of it as a war? Maybe you aren’t worried about the deaths, injuries, and crime that result from this epidemic.
