A major way to help defeat the drug cartels is to dry up their market. End the War on Drugs. Decriminalize, then legalize  and regulate. 1/3

For a fraction of the $100B we spend every year on the failed Drug War, we can help establish a national network of recovery options. We need to move from criminalization to seeing addiction as a health issue. We don't need a Drug czar; we need a Recovery czar. 2/3

Nixon knew drugs wasn't "public enemy #1" when he started the Drug War. It's done more to exacerbate than to solve the problem, including that almost half of federal prisoners are non-violent drug offenders. Enough. Time for a new beginning. 3/3 marianne2024.com

President Stagg is committed to legalising drugs, regulating them and providing plenty of tools and education for people vulnerable to what we refer to as addiction

1 of 2 Marianne, Some of your ideas are brilliant. Others, like this one, probably have grains of truth but if you weren't running for President would be labeled, correctly, B S crazy. Should we let murders go also to free up prison space? Not equal, yes, but slippery slope

Why don’t you help your country and put pressure in Biden to give RFK SS protection. Oh that’s right you look the other way at the DNC not allowing the democratic process so what do you care. Every demon-rat should be on the rooftops demanding a fair democratic process.

Yes, but that doesn't fund the agency's that profit from suffering

Marijuana is legal in California but there is still a black market for marijuana. Ask the city of Portland how the decriminalization of drugs is working out in their city.
