.@RobertKennedyJr says it is time to shut down the border. He visited & saw the abuses of the cartel firsthand. Kennedy wants to provide free, federal ID cards to Americans. "If you say you can't get a job without federal ID, the border is going to shut down overnight."

The abuses of the drug cartels aren’t only at the border. The even worse violence is what the migrants are trying to escape to begin with! The last thing we should do is cut off all means of escape entirely. Obviously we need more legal and orderly means of entry and asylum - a Congressional failure to achieve over decades. Also, if we’re to seriously start defeating the drug cartels we should begin by ending the Drug War.

I agree with ending the drug war but nothing else you said made any sense when it comes to the issue of migrants from all over the world flooding through our southern boarder and causing stress in communities around our country. I’m with RKFJ 100% on this

The immigration laws need to be enforced and adjudicated at the border at the time of arrival..letting everybody in with a court date 8 years down the road in unsustainable, unfair, and inhumane

Yes border needs to be closed. I’m a carpenter, and I’ve worked on farms. These are not the migrants who enrich our society. They’re military aged men who come her to exploit not contribute. They shouldn’t have priveledge over law abiding migrants

Why is the idea of securing our border with walls and soldiers to ensure we know who and what exactly is entering our country seem so abhorrent? Kennedy is pro immigration when it is controlled and orderly.
