.@RobertKennedyJr says it is time to shut down the border. He visited & saw the abuses of the cartel firsthand. Kennedy wants to provide free, federal ID cards to Americans. "If you say you can't get a job without federal ID, the border is going to shut down overnight."

The abuses of the drug cartels aren’t only at the border. The even worse violence is what the migrants are trying to escape to begin with! The last thing we should do is cut off all means of escape entirely. Obviously we need more legal and orderly means of entry and asylum - a Congressional failure to achieve over decades. Also, if we’re to seriously start defeating the drug cartels we should begin by ending the Drug War.

That makes no sense at all. People are not coming here to escape violence they are coming here to benefit form our economy at our expense. Maybe thats not a big deal to you in your ivory tower but regular people are having their lives slowly stripped away by this crisis.

Why do people like you think there are no other safe cities/countries in the entire World, except the U.S.? Our cities are more dangerous every day. The only way to stop the drug cartels is to secure our border .... duh. AMERICANS are fleeing cities due to the violence!

I don't hear a solution. You want to lead? Criticizing w/o a solution isn't leadership. Wisdom & poise combined w/ implementable, practical solutions is. Your ravenous abhorrence for RFK is bewildering—given the caliber of his record alone—and the corruption we're up against.
