.@RobertKennedyJr says it is time to shut down the border. He visited & saw the abuses of the cartel firsthand. Kennedy wants to provide free, federal ID cards to Americans. "If you say you can't get a job without federal ID, the border is going to shut down overnight."

Hi Marianne. Well, I guess that settles it then😀 You might be right, and you might be wrong, but it is better if you state your reasons rather than being dismissive. I am far far from an expert on the issue, but the 6+ minute clip from RFK Jr seemed fairly reasonable to me.

Wow, this thread is pretty wild. The framing of his argument is steeped in xenophobia and boy have y’all responded to the dogwhistle. If shutting down the border is a priority for you because… “jobs” you’re most likely white or a brown person of privilege.
