.@RobertKennedyJr says it is time to shut down the border. He visited & saw the abuses of the cartel firsthand. Kennedy wants to provide free, federal ID cards to Americans. "If you say you can't get a job without federal ID, the border is going to shut down overnight."

Here I disagree with you. Free federal ID cards will help with boarder crisis. At same time we can help those already inside US and make legal immigration better. #Kennedy24 @RobertKennedyJr has the right idea.

He’s trying to save immigrants from living on the streets, earning slave wages and begging. And he’ll work to improve conditions through various means in their home countries so they don’t have to leave. Sounds like the most humane approach to me.

You want working poor Americans to have more dog-eat-dog competition for $7.25/hour jobs and cheap housing? Overcrowded schools and long lines at public hospitals? It's easy for wealthy Americans to demand an open border when it is poor Americans that pay the price.
