Them: Ms. Williamson, what is your strategy for beating Donald Trump? Me: My strategy for beating Trump is to make him irrelevant, and offer the American people so so so much more.

All of the above would be considered moderate positions in any other advanced democracy, and they should be considered moderate positions in ours.

What happens when the money runs out and all the businessmen leave for better economic conditions?

Nothing that I’m talking about has to do with spending more money. It means no longer slavishly throwing money at the very richest among us! We do that for no reason other than their donations and lobbying and corruption. It means to instead use our money to actually build a righteous and moral economy, by helping people thrive. THAT is what our tax dollars should go for. Today we slavishly throw money at people who do not need it, at the expense of people simply struggling to survive. Using our money to help people prosper will not shrink but rather expand the economy.

“To build a righteous and moral society…” is exactly the justification given to seize the power necessary for those in charge to steer public funds to their criminal family and friends.

It is the same old failed story from every false socialist utopia.

'Taxing the rich' means taking money from one group and giving to another. When their money runs out, the economy collapses. You can't run an economy on handouts.

The best answer to poverty is a good paying job not a handout. How will you create real jobs that are not government jobs.

Who are we 'slavishly throwing money' at? If you want to buy American products, we have to bring the jobs back. Every policy you have mentioned is paid for with tax dollars.
