To the elite who run the world, I have one question: What the hell do you expect these kids to do? Have their leaders shown up for them? Have the institutions set up to protect them provided for them? Not even remotely. Yet you are going to criminalize their protesting the actual criminals? 100 years from now, these kids will be seen as the heroes.
HAPPENING NOW: Activists arrested for shutting down traffic outside of @BlackRock, the company that owns the world and is torching the planet. If you think this is chaos, wait until you see the destruction that BlackRock is wrecking across the planet. #ClimateShutDown

Any chance to demonize cops unfairly, Marianne takes. She wants to outlaw police and let criminals run the streets.

I’d expect them to not make the situation worse.
I’m sure they realized that they would be arrested when they undertook to protest. That’s the whole idea. Maybe that’s what leadership actually looks like. Total respect for this particular demonstration, and for once the police are doing their job professionally.

Your first mistake is thinking that politicians are leaders. They’re not. They’re representatives.

I'm no elite, and I'd expect them them to do something effective (as many of us are) and not alienate the common folk who they are counter-productively inconveniencing with their performative protests.

This performative climate "activism" is funded by elites. These privileged "kids" are blocking actual working class people from getting to... work! They're making it so emergency workers can't drive down the street. They're a terror to the every day citizen. They ARE the elite.
