I DO support a UBI - and have always said so. The reason I don’t “lead” with it is because it does not of itself address the fundamental flaw of unfettered capitalism. As a stopgap measure, however, yes. We need to do whatever necessary to relieve millions of their unjust circumstances.

This is why I'm leaning towards @CornelWest -- #UBI is the structural change we need to MONEY, the base operating system upon which capitalism and communism are both built. It isn't left or right.

did you see that SAGAFTRA members are calling on their leader to resign because they can't afford to strike? If you want to fight for the working class $UBI would allowed them to do so without the financial stress of should we or should we not because I can't afford to.

#AI job loss is real. I'm in the arts & see it daily. I'm less worried about authoritarians than I am about the rich businessmen I have to pay monthly. A Livable #UBI would solve MANY problems, including not fostering the environment where authoritarianism can take root. #GLBI
