The Republican party’s agenda is to eliminate the public school system for their personal gain. The safety of our kids and the future of our kids is last on their list.

Fixing air filtration should have been done at the beginning of the pandemic. It will be hard to get politicians (except you) to even acknowledge that COVID and LC are still big problems. Thank you for raising the issue.

Meanwhile, millions of students are exposed to asbestos everyday in old, decaying schools in rust and bible belt towns. Many of which also advise you don't drink the tap water. But sure, let's make air quality priority number 1. There's not more immediate, addressable concerns.

This just plain wouldn't work. In buildings w/ areas the size of schools, you wouldn't (reasonably) be able to move enough air to negate sputum transmission in face to face interactions or via tainted surfaces. But hey, practicality doesnt matter when it comes to fear mongering

HEPA air filtration and far uv lighting would eliminate most or all of the viruses and bacteria in the air in closed indoor spaces.

Air is far cleaner than in the 70's and I was a child then and shockingly I am still alive. Find something real to care about
