It’s not enough to invest in clean energy if at the same time you’re ramping up dirty energy. “Look what we’re doing over here so you won’t notice what we’re doing over there.” Green energy investments here; more oil drilling permits and the Willow Project over there. That is NOT taking on Big Oil. Time to declare a climate emergency. Nothing less will answer to the crisis of our time.
Last year, Democrats passed our nation’s biggest-ever investment in fighting climate change—getting us on a path to lowering carbon emissions by 40%. And no matter what Big Oil has to say about it, I’ll keep working to make sure we tackle this crisis head on.

For the first time you made me proud. The idea of taking on Big oil by Democrats or Republican is a joke so as a candidate you have to call it out blantly to make people uncomfortable now try doing it to for other major crisis like wages, homelessness , Ukraine and price gouge

Sure, if there's wider acknowledgement of the power abuses that occurred with the other recently declared emergency. Failing that very reasonable requirement, you really can't expect the level of cohesion necessary for progress on this issue. Such a declaration would backfire.

Making energy more expensive and less abundant will hurt everyone. Like most things the poor will suffer the most

1. What happens with the declaration of a Climate Emergency? (I’m pretty sure nothing happens.) 2. If America still needs oil when current wells are depleted, it’s better to use domestic vs imported. Reminder: ICE cars are still being manufactured.

Green energy is not so green. But you probably know that.

“Clean” energy? Cannot get cleaner than “0” emissions and an unlimited fuel supply. Will you MANDATE “water-based” alternatives be available so that children do not have to serve as slaves to BIG TECH to make “clean, electric” cars?
We have been lied to, suppressed and conned by rich globalist money hungry elites. Water Powered Car in 1974: - Goes 70 MPH - Travels over 1000 miles on one tank - Releases zero pollution We could be driving water-powered cars but the forces that manipulate humanity would never allow it. As human consciousness rises, and the control system dissipates, we will see the re-emergence of great technologies like this.
