NOPE. We are not going to make things more expensive for the poor in the short-term for some nebulous long-term goal. The emergency is saving people's lives today, and there are less climate deaths today than there were 100 years ago because of man's ingenuity.

But the grass has never been greener and the tress have never been more well fed. While re-building the rain forest, the last thing we want to do is reduce CO2. If anything we can stand for an increase in CO2. Why would you want to starve grass and trees?
