I’m thrilled about this. Absolutely infuriating that grad students were selling their plasma in order to make ends meet! It’s clear what to do in these situations: Form for a union. Stick with it. Persevere. Congratulations, guys!

When I was a grad student at the University of Iowa the grad student union negotiated free tuition for every grad student who had a part time or full time TA or other university position. Unions work.
