Think Democrat bosses borrowed the idea taking opponents off ballots from Iran's bosses? I remember wanting to vote for Senator Eugene McCarthy in 1976, but he would take votes from Jimmy Carter they said. Democrats had him taken off the NYS ballot. A Shah was ruling Iran then.
